Porter Eldredge is a Twin Cities based Actor & Multi-hyphenate theatre artist. Being multi-passionate, they strive for excellence onstage and in fight choreography, partner dance, juggling, accents and more. They also have aspirations as a director, designer, and administrator. Their work as an actor has been seen professionally at The Theatre at Monmouth, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Frosted Glass Creative, & Nautilus Music Theatre.
Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah the love of nature and a community oriented generosity informs all of their work. Growing up, they went to the Utah Shakespeare Festival every summer. As a result, creating powerful & accessible work on a regional level is their chief artistic goal. Porter is a graduating Senior at the University of Minnesota / Guthrie Acting BFA program.
While studying at UMN, Porter also minored in Russian Language and has a profound respect for the works of Leo Tolstoy & Anton Chekhov. They aspire to direct or get to act in any work that follows in that great lineage. Their ultimate goal is to become an Artistic Director with a theatrical home that allows them to continue their love of classic work in both an administrative & performance capacity.
